2. What HeliHalo Does

HeliHalo is a private health journal for lab results and blood markers. The app lets you import reports from PDFs, images, scans, pasted text, dictation, the iOS share sheet, and optional Apple Health integration.

HeliHalo helps you review extracted markers, track changes over time, add notes, create backups, and generate PDF reports for personal reference.

3. Health Data Stays On Your Device

The HeliHalo iOS app does not require an account and does not upload your journal entries, lab results, source files, audio recordings, OCR text, or parsed marker data to HeliHalo servers.

• Imported reports and journal entries are stored locally on your device.
• OCR and marker parsing are designed to run on device.
• Dictation and speech recognition use iOS capabilities when you enable them.
• Backups and exports are created only when you choose to create or share them.
• Optional Face ID or Touch ID lock is handled by iOS. HeliHalo does not receive biometric data.

4. Information We May Process

In The App

Information you enter or import into HeliHalo may include lab results, marker values, notes, dates, report files, images, PDFs, and settings. This information is kept locally unless you decide to export, back up, or share it.

Website And Support

When you visit helihalo.io, our hosting providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, and timestamps for security, delivery, and diagnostics. If you email us, we process the information you include in your message so we can respond.

5. Apple Health And iOS Permissions

HeliHalo may ask for optional permissions such as camera, photo library, microphone, speech recognition, notifications, Face ID or Touch ID, and Apple Health access. You choose whether to grant these permissions and can change them in iOS Settings.

Apple Health integration is optional. If enabled, HeliHalo only accesses the categories you approve, such as importing clinical lab results or exporting glucose readings when you enable sync.

6. Sharing And Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your lab journal or health records with advertisers or data brokers. Data may leave your device only when you choose to share, export, back up, or send it through another service.

We may use service providers for website hosting, email, diagnostics, and other business operations. These providers process limited information only as needed to provide their services to us.

7. Your Choices

• You can delete app data by deleting entries, removing files, or uninstalling the app.
• You can export your journal or create a backup when you choose.
• You can manage app permissions in iOS Settings.
• You can contact us to ask privacy questions or request support.

8. Security

We design HeliHalo to minimize data collection and keep health information local by default. No software can guarantee absolute security, so you should protect your device, keep iOS updated, and use device-level security features such as a passcode and biometric lock.

9. Children

HeliHalo is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

HeliHalo is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical recommendations. It is for personal tracking and organization only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health.
